Okay, this one is a big one. It wasn’t my gateway or anything like that, but it was my introduction to Dragonforce… and my playlist was NEVER the same:
When to listen:
For me, it’s usually right at the beginning of the final conflict or climax of my story. It’s a strong, powerful, song that really gets the blood pumping. Songs like this are my coffee in the morning (I don’t drink Coffee).

Never liked coffee… The smell, the taste, etc. I just can’t get past it. I never developed a taste for it and thus never developed a need for it.

I suppose that’s fair. It was love at first taste for me. I haven’t been separated from it since.

I have found that the need precedes the taste for it. But to each their own. It seems like metal is your only vice.

I envy your being able to listen to music whilst writing, for me I can’t concentrate with anything else going on. Although Sunn 0))) is good for setting a certain mood!
Great posts, by the way!
