THIS POST HAS SPOILERS, IF YOU PLAN ON READING MAGNIFICA, PLEASE SKIP!!!

Apparently I have some speed readers on my hand, because as of late, I’ve been getting emails regarding a certain plot point that comes at the end of Tears of the Fallen:

So if you don’t already know… last chance for spoilers… yes, Lia’na dies heroically at the end. A lot of people apparently really liked the character and thought that she’d have a happily ever after ending. Or in more specific terms;

You’ve already put her through Hell. She was abused, twice in your first book, almost raped, subjected to racism and exiled from her people. She was really your most… real character. You put her through so much, why kill her off after everything she’d been through? 

I’m paraphrasing a few emails here, so don’t worry I’m not taking what anyone said out of context.

To everyone who was unsatisfied with Tears of the Fallen’s ending…

Yup… the story ain’t over!! There’s a third book out there:

Please please please!!! Read all three before getting upset! Gravestalker is arguably the best story I’ve written. I promise that once you’ve sat through it, you’ll be a lot happier with how the Last Enchanter ends up.

All right? I appreciate all of the feedback, but believe me, there’s a reason I killed her off.
