Someone needs to make a fan film ‘Star Wars Infinite: The Canon Wars.’ Directors, get on it!!!
Yeah for a very long time now we’ve seen fans arguing back and forth over what is and is not canon… and my understanding is that the ONLY things that are considered canon now are the films and anything that George Lucas himself had a hand in…
So sadly that means this is canon:

You get the idea!
So what does that mean for Star Wars?
Well basically it means that anything in the books, comics, video games, fan films, etc. are out. Anything directly made by LucasFilm, are in. (Except MAYBE for the Knights of the Old Republic stories as there is SOME evidence of them in the new material.

Look unfortunately in such an expansive universe, we’re all going to find things we don’t like… I personally dislike more than I like of the things I know about in OUR universe. Like it or not, these things are canon, we can pretend they don’t exist, but we’re really doing ourselves a disservice by doing so.
You gotta take the good with the bad, otherwise it just doesn’t feel as real.
Just some food for thought. Think about it.

Also an unpopular opinion: I actually like The Ewok Adventure (I don’t use the subtitle they tacked on later). I thought it was a fun adventure with the Ewoks and I never got into the cartoon the way I did the Droids cartoon. I don’t like the sequel, Battle For Endor, because it basically invalidated the first movie by killing off the parents anyway and tossing the brother in to boot. But I’ll gladly watch Ewok Adventure and wish it was in my video library.
