Hi All,

As many of my readers will remember… I commissioned a sketch of Qira. As awesome as it was… I wasn’t fully satisfied. It was missing wings. So it wasn’t perfect. Plus, she looked a tad too menacing.

So I took that image and the cover of The Orphans of Haven…

… and commissioned a digital sculptor to assist me. We found a dragon figures that worked pretty well. However… Again, no wings and this time, no tail and no color.

Fortunately, I have some limited artistic talent and immediately upon receiving the sculpt, went to work on sculpting wings and a tail.

Then I painted it and put a couple layers podge on it to seal it.

So for those of you who are still unsure of what my exact mental image of second and third generation dragons was… Wonder no more!!
