So every now and then I go to my Youtube playlist and click on a couple of videos on the recommended list, hoping to find some new music to try out. Every now and then I come across a gem… other times, I wind up with a headache, questioning my existence. Finding this little gem is the result of the former. They’re fairly generic hard rock, but they have a nice sound to them.

When to Listen: Personal conflict for your hero/villain. Listen to this song when your character is facing down their own internal demons.

I’ll use those comments to select my next blog post.

I have been writing for several years, have 4 published works, experience with publishing and independent work, so I can hopefully be of assistance.

Please note, I only do one of these a day and will do my best to respond to everyone, but it may take some time.

Also, feel free to check out my works of Fantasy and Historical Fiction, Available on Amazon and where ever books are sold. See the link below:

Thanks friends!

Catch you on the flip side!

  1. When you edit what to save, what to change and then what to cut, what’s next when you are editing? If you can’t afford an editor what should you do?

  2. First of all, awesome song! (and I’m normally quite picky on my first listen, but this one really is to my liking)
Second of all, I love the idea of associating the action you’re writing about with some fitting background music. I thought it only happened to me, heh. It’s quite weird actually how the automatic youtube playlist changes so drastically all on its own while I’m writing depending on how tense the action is… but nevermind that.
I’m looking forward to more song suggestions associated with writing 😀
