I have to admit, when I first heard Sabaton, I didn’t like them. The first song I heard was Calorus Rex off of the live from Wacken album. That probably wasn’t the best example to start with. Since then, they’ve grown on me. The singing isn’t great, but I love the subject matter, music, and lyrics.

Name another band that sings exclusively about history and successfully pulls it off.

When to listen: When writing the main struggle. This is the perfect song for it.
