I haven”t quite finished reading Drakin, but was really curious about something. First of all, congratulations on getting your book published, that’s quite an accomplishment! I really liked your character, Jagger. It really seems like you spent a lot more of time and focus on Raiya, but Jagger seems like the nice guy who would give you the shirt off his back. I can’t imagine that being common in a world where humanity is facing extinction.

I’m not sure if this is intentional or not, and I doubt you’ll give me a definitive answer, but I was kind of wondering, could Raiya and Jagger have a child, based on what we know about Raiya’s biology?

Well, looks like we’re getting into shipping territory. That’s always fun!

Good question, so Raiya’s biology is fairly unique as is noted in the story. I don’t want to give too much of the plot away, so I’m going to try to keep this as non-descriptive as possible. I’m likely going to disappoint you here… though I don’t mention it in the story, the pseudo-microbiology I used to create her (and turn this into a partial scifi novel), would make it highly unlikely that she’d be able to conceive a child. Though anatomically she’s compatible with a human being, her biology isn’t.
